“When I first heard of the Free Weddings, I mentioned it to Robert, we had been living together two years and only talked about getting married, we were not engaged and really had no plans. I put a bug in Robert’s ear when I found out about it and he agreed days later which was a total shock to me. At the time I was pregnant and worried about being a bad example for my daughters whom I always advised to get married before having kids. The service was very exciting and it was a true blessing for the two of us who were obviously in love with each other but needed a nudge to commit fully. We weren’t pressured to have the biggest fanciest outfits and only had our children there with us but it turned out to be such a magical night.
